Excellent, another world's oldest person. I love these. This time it's the turn of one Gertrude Baines in LA, California. One hundred and fifteen years old, and according to her doctor said "...that she owes her longevity to the Lord, that she never did drink, she never did smoke and she never did fool around."
Well. That was a hundred and fifteen long years.

Oh, my goodness, yes. Have you seen the thread I've started on Neeps? The wind destroyd my tunnel, so I get to start from scratch. I didn't like to mess with what the old folk had done to my tunnel - there was a lot of hard work went in and I felt rather sacriligious ripping it all out. Now I get to rip it out and do it my way :) I shall be taking photographs :)
